PRINCE2 Practitioner New Exam Format



Based on the data collected in the past few months, APMG has decided to change the format of the PRINCE2 practitioner and re-registration exams.
As of now, the Practitioner exam has 9 questions with 12 question items per question, each carrying one mark, taking the total marks on the exam to 108. The duration is 2.5 hours. The re-registration exam has 3 questions with 12 question items per question, each carrying one mark, taking the total marks on the exam to 36. The duration is 1 hour. The pass percentage is 55% for both the exams.
As per the information provided by APMG, the following changes will be made to the exam format: Practitioner Exam
• 8 questions
• 10 question items per question, each worth one mark, total 80 marks
• 2.5 hours (150 minutes) duration, no additional reading time
• 44+ marks to pass (55%)
• Open book exam (official PRINCE2 manual only)
Practitioner Re-Registration Exam
• 3 questions
• 10 question items per question, each worth one mark, total 30 marks
• 1 hour (60 minute) duration, no additional reading time
• 17+ marks to pass (55%)
• Open book exam (official PRINCE2 manual only)
